1. The service
LocalBooking provides software to accept and manage appointments. We host your public booking page, deliver notifications, and store your business data. We are not a party to the bookings themselves — those are agreements between you and your customers.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account. Keep your email inbox secure — anyone with access to it can sign in using our passwordless code. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LocalBooking for unlawful activity, to send unsolicited messages, to impersonate others, to scrape the service, or to interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that harm other users or the platform.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload — logos, descriptions, staff photos, and bookings. You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content solely to operate the service.
5. Fees and free tier
The core scheduling features are free. Paid features may be introduced with clear pricing and at least 30 days' notice for existing accounts. You will never be charged without an explicit action from you.
6. Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime and monitor the platform continuously. We will notify account owners of significant outages via email and status page. No warranty is offered beyond reasonable best effort — the service is provided "as is".
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalBooking's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 USD, whichever is greater.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard, and we will delete your data within 30 days. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, unless local consumer protection laws grant you a stronger jurisdiction.
